Meet the Maker

Welcome to my shop! My name is Sophia Marie and I am the owner of Studio by Sophia. In May of 2019, I started experimenting with sewing scrunchies. Adding a cute bow to a scrunchie was the perfect little twist. I decided to make one for a friend as a birthday gift and that's where it all started. I started getting requests from friends and family, so I opened up an Instagram account to advertise and sell through. I gradually went from a few scrunchies per month to selling new headbands, scrunchies, and bow scrunchies every week. That brings me to where I am now, a recent graduate from Westfield State University. I decided to switch things up a bit and do one big launch per month to offer more variety and give myself the time to make each order perfect!
